604 series diesel engine was introduced from DEUTZ-MWM of Germany by Henan Diesel Engine Industry Co., Ltd (HND) in 1985. In 2020, HND completed the development of the common rail engine. The cylinder bore/stroke of the 604 series diesel engine: 170/195mm, power coverage: 372-600kW, speed range: 1200-1800rpm.

The emission standard meet the third-stage non-road emission standard and the second-stage emission standard in China, and the mechanical pump diesel engine meets the Tier II and Tier III emission standard. This series of diesel engines has the advantages of compact structure, superior performance, convenient use and maintenance, long overhaul period, good economy and excellent emission standards.
